With stunning views and beautiful antique gardens this villa is perfect for relaxed stress free holidaysThe house is built on top of a hill covered with olive groves and vineyards. It has two floors connected by an internal stair case, each floor with its own separate entrance, a kitchen and dining room, making it perfect for extended family groups or separate families holidaying together. Built in the 18th century, this graceful villa has a wonderful feeling of history.It has large airy rooms with stunning views, each one furnished with rustic antique pieces that are both comfortable and functional and look as though they have been in the family for ever. It is perfectly located to explore all the major Tuscan points of interest including Siena, Florence, San Gimignano etc.ACCOMODATION: Entering the front door one finds a long hall way going to the right and the left. The rooms open off this hallway and at one end is the main kitchen which is a large and spacious room with massive original fire place, dining table, American style fridge freezer by Bosch, dish washer, washing machine, oven and four burner cook top.On this floor are also a bedroom with double bed, another bedroom with two twin beds, the bathroom with shower over the bath tub and the living room with comfortable sofas and satellite Television. This room must be crossed to reach the internal stair case to the upstairs.Upstairs is another double bedroom, another twin bedroom, a bathroom with the shower over the bath tub and twin basins and a delightful and sprawling sitting room with a sofa that opens to a double bed. At the end of a long corridor that mimics the one below a smaller kitchen and a separate bright airy dining room with Television. Next to the kitchen and at the end of the corridor lovely French double doors open on to a terrace and external stair that leads to the downstairs out side. A hair dryer is available on request.Please note that although the villa does not have a telephone there is good reception for guests own mobile phones. The owners will also lend a mobile phone to guests during their stay in return for a refundable security deposit directly applicable to the telephone in case of damage or loss.Available is also the dependance Villa Celeste. It was once a barn and it has been restored in 2005. It sleeps 2+2 in one bedroom and two bathrooms. On the ground floor there is the living room with double sofa bed and kitchen, and bathroom. A spiral staircase leads to the first floor where there is a spacious and bright double bedroom with many windows and bathroom.THE GARDEN AND SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT: As the house is built on a hill it looks over the top of its own gardens across to magnificent views. The garden was designed along with the house about 300 years ago and today is a mature and formal design of topiary hedges and large shady trees. The pool is in a separate garden, in ground.
